Brave Dave is risking his life, walking many miles a day, sleeping out, exposing himself to nature and the elements, in order to do what he can to raise money for children in India and Africa.
To get the 'Be a Kli' project up and running, we need just $4000 for the 2 month trip to India, where we will make partnerships with orphanages and run a pilot program with 20 volunteers in which we will teach classes, do farming and run workshops for the children.
All the money we raise beyond this target, will go directly towards providing school materials and food for the children of the Tibetan Children's Village in Dharamasala http://www.tcv.org.in/home.shtml
For $18 we can:
buy 3 bottles of beer on a night out in New York, or in India we can buy:
12 bags of carrot seeds, enough to feed 100
children for a month/
200 pencils to give out to school children/
36 exercise books/
20 kgs of rice/
40 litres of milk.
You choose where your money is better spent.
We realise this is a tough time financially, therefore we are reaching out to individual donors who don't necessarily have a large amount to give, but feel they want to reach out to those less fortunate than themselves.
Of course, you can donate more if you like, and donations of over $250 can receive a tax rebate. If you would like to donate more than $250 please contact Bradley at bradley@allforthekids.org
